The mans got a point, if the horse is going to die regardless, then why waste all the time and energy to keep it alive, when it cant even walk?? You would rather see a horse rest in pain for months and months rather then have it put asleep in a painfull death

That wasn't the mans point. If he posted any of the opinions you mentioned above no one would think he was a dick (well maybe). He simply said that he was glad the horse died so he wouldn't have to be bored and annoyed with the health updates.
